Hello and welcome to my patchwork and quilting website.
I’m Annie. I am a graduate teacher with 38 years experience of teaching. In 2013 I retired from my day job as the Head teacher of a small village school. Now I have more time to devote to my interests and in particular the creative arts, especially textiles.
I am an avid sewer, patch-worker and quilter. I have an eclectic taste from traditional style to contemporary quilting using a variety of techniques. I am passionate about the creative arts and keen to share my experience.
In 2014 I launched into my business as a teacher of patchwork and quilting, longarm quilting and supplier of kit form projects.
I have been very busy creating my curriculum teaching programme and will post projects on this website.
Check out my website for details of Patchwork and Teaching courses. I teach small groups from my studio but am now beginning to offer workshops at a local venue in Shropshire.
You will also find details of projects and teaching on my Facebook page as I post there too. Facebook Annie’s Patch

Last year I slipped a disc and trapped a nerve in my neck requiring major surgery. Consequently I had to curtail activites for a while. I’m now well on the road to recovery thanks to our wonderful NHS and a very talented surgeon. I’m teaching at Festival of Quilts on 1st August 2019 as part of the quick workshops for youngsters. Details can be found on the FOQ website, search for Christmas Stocking :
I am also available to quilt groups for talks on my quilting journey and can offer whole day workshops using a variety of techniques and quilting gadgets. Please contact me via the website form to discuss what I am able to offer and my pricing structure.
Please be aware that this website and Annie Garner have no connection to the Etsy store trading under the name Annie’s Patch. I do not have an Etsy store with the same name.
